Scream Awards 2009 Honors Keith Richards

Spike TV's 4th Annual Scream Awards was held tonight October 17, 2009 at the Greek Theatre, and honored the best in sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic-inspired movies and TV shows.
Fans vote online for the winners, so some of the year's most popular programs and big box-office hits took home trophies, including "Transformers," "Twilight," "True Blood" and "Star Trek." The star studded event included actors from those particular movies as well as other surprise guests.
And then low and behold - we have Keith Richards, famed guitarist from the Rolling Stones, also known for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow's father in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. Fans of course welcomed Richards with a much deserved standing ovation and who else but Johnny Depp himself presented Richards with the Rock Immortal award.
"I liked the living legend, that was all right, but immortal is even better," Richards said in an interview before accepting the honor. We agree with you Keith - you are definitely immortalized forever in our hearts and minds.
